I’ve lived in Nanaimo since 1985. I moved to the the Old City Quarter in 2012. I am lucky to have found my current home and work in this friendly, welcoming, diverse and beautiful neighbourhood.
What a joy to not always have to get into my car. Whatever I need or want is all in walking or cycling distance. My passion lies in building community (comm-unity), the power of connection and a deep appreciation for the natural world. As human beings, we need that sense of belonging.
As a director of NOCA, I hope to create opportunities for people from all backgrounds to be welcomed into and help celebrate the diverse community we live in. Being and feeling part of comm- unity is essential for our well being! Eve was elected to the Board in 2017.
